My Feat (Feet?)

This Saturday I accomplished a new feat with a friend of mine and afterwards I felt like I needed new FEET. My friend, Jena, and I run together on Saturdays for our marathon training and this weekend we both accomplished something we had never done before.... we ran a half marathon! The 13.1 miles was definitely more than I have ever ran in my life, but it was amazing how good it felt to finish that run! I have never had such sore feet in my life and my legs felt tight all night long, but the feeling of doing something that is hard and that I haven't done before is truly a rewarding feeling. I cant imagine what it will feel like to finish running 26.2 miles! I might need new feet, but its totally worth it!

Okay...don't think I'm weird, but I was stalking Amy and Whitey's blog and saw a link to yours. You gotta love the blogging network. Good job on the big 13.1...hopefully I can get there one day. Hope the rest of St. George was fun. I was sad we never came over on Friday, but we will have to get together again.

Hey Babe! I just ran across your blog, and feel bad I didn't ask you before if you have one. I would love to keep in touch with you. Way to go on your running! You are very motivating. Are you still in Logan? Getting Married? It's good to see pics of your family. Keep us posted.

Yay! We rock! Can you believe we ran that far? And to think that is was only half way! But I have to say, I love the feeling of accomplishment. I think I will have to get new knees after all of this training :)
