Basketball Stars!

My little brothers, who I should mention are not so little, have started their basketball season! Both of them play for Skyline High School and they are undefeated so far in preseason play.

Ryan is a senior guard and he is having such an incredible year so far. He is so much fun to watch! He has a ton of energy and definitely knows the game better than anyone I know. My favorite is when his team runs this tricky play and they alley-oop it to him for a slam dunk! Let me just tell you... Ryan can fly! He jumps so high and I just wish I had the hops that he has!

Jake is playing unbelievable too! He is a Junior post and has been able to see some varsity time this year. Last night against Olympus, a huge rival, Jake scored 11 points and had some really nice assists too. He had this one sicky move when he was posting up down low. He had just been fouled pretty hard the play before and he had intensity in his eyes like I have never before seen! He faked like he was going in the key and turned toward the baseline and layed the ball up drawing a foul for an AND 1! What a stud! It was so fun to see all his teammates getting all stoked for him.

This Skyline team is one of a kind. They all are such good buddies and they always are looking out for each other. I love to watch them play and I am so proud of them in their successes.
