Last weekend was a blast. My mom and I took a girls weekend away and we went up to Bear Lake. On the way up there we stopped in Logan Canyon to go on a little hike. The hike is called Wind Cave and it said the level of difficulty was "difficult" but we didnt think it was too hard, and we saw a grandpa hiking it, which kind of made us feel like wimps, but it was still a good hike. Another bonus was that it wasnt too bad of weather and only rained on us a little bit in the beginning, but we loved it. I took a few pictures of the beautiful mountains and a flower that I loved. They arent the best pictures, but we had so much fun spending time together. My mom is such a great friend to me and we always have so much fun together. Here are a few pictures of the hike.
At the end of the hike there are these caves that are made from the wind. It was actually really interesting for me because I have been learning about the earth and all the forms that it can take on from the elements of the world. This truly is such an amazing site to see. Sometimes I forget all that God gives us and the beauty that he creates. I cant believe that these Wind Caves are just in my backyard! I am so amazed at lifes simplicities!
These kind of flowers were all over the hike and cover the mountains through Logan Canyon. I thought they were so pretty. I love how spring is lasting so long this year. It will be weird to have everything die when the hot weather gets here. It has been so nice seeing the green everywhere!
Mom showing everyone that we completed the 2 mile hike! (well, 4 miles if you count coming back down) We did it!
