{Little Blessings}

I am so thankful for little blessings.

I drove home tonight with my friend Kris to get a head start on the weekend and it was (and had been) raining so much and was so cold that the roads were frozen with a thin layer of ice! After seeing a few cars slide out on the longest road ever - for those of you who are not familiar with this road, this is the ever-tiring road after you pass Providence and are heading towards Sardine and it just goes on forever and ever - anyway, I decided to pull the car over and say a prayer. I know this seems like such a normal thing to do and I know a lot of people do it, but after that prayer I just knew that Heavenly Father would watch over us and keep us safe. I am sure my slow, grandma-ish driving attributed to our safety a little bit, but I am a little bit more convinced that Heavenly Father watched over us and helped us to get home safe!

(ps... it's not that grandma's are really slow drivers, they are just really.... cautious. It is definitely not a diss, more of a compliment) :)

I am so thankful for little blessings.
