This week has been crazy busy for me and I havent had much time to write or do anything at all for that matter! I have been coaching at the Utah State volleyball camp this week and it really was such a fun camp! There were lots of girls that came ranging from 7th and 8th grade all the way to 12th grade. I had the 10th graders with my teammate Katie Astle and we had so much fun coaching them. They all are still learning the rotations and how to dive and do an approach right but the difference between their skill level on day 1 and day 4 was absolutely unbelievable! They made some really impressive improvements and I was so proud of them!
We had to give out awards today for the last day of camp and Katie and I gave out the "Hustla'" award to a really great little libero, Desi, and the "Most Versatile" award to Tayler who seriously had to play almost every position because we kept having injuries and then some people wouldnt show up one day and she was always just so willing to try anything. After camp ended the 12th graders played the camp counselors and although they tried really hard we still came out victorious... Thank goodness! Haha it was really such a fun week. All the coaches stayed in the dorms with the girls so it was like a little trip away from home but just up the street! I had a really great time this week coaching and now I am ready to party it up in Salt Lake this weekend for my mom's birthday! Woohoo!

Hey Melissa! Looks like you are doing awesome, thanks for your comments! That's awesome that you're doing a marathon! I would say just don't miss any training runs (do you have a program you're following? If not I know a great place to get one) Where clothes with no seams, get body glide, and train with the food, gatorade and energy supplements that you are going to use, I've heard of some people getting really sick because they try something new race day, running that far does a number on your stomach. Good luck, that's so exciting, it is a really cool experience for sure!
