I have been so busy with double-days and what not, I have hardly had time to write about my way fun weekend, so even though this is a little outdated now, I'm going to post it anyway! This past weekend was really great. On saturday some friends of mine had a bunch of people over for a barbeque up at their family's ranch. It was a lot of fun being able to ride the horses and get to know their friends. I rode on Joe and let me tell you, I dont know a thing about riding horses! It was a lot of fun though, I got him to trot a little bit, but couldnt really get him to go much faster than that. Maybe one day I will know a little bit more about riding horses. Once it got dark the bbq'n got started and the boys made us some delicious skewers. With the company and the food, the bbq was a big hit and I had so much fun getting to know all the cute girls that were there. Here are a few pics from the evening.
Jeff and I are getting Joe all ready and saddled up. Basically he did it all and I got in the picture! haha Joe is such a good horse and really a lot of fun to ride. The other boys were doing all these cool tricks with them like side steppin' and weaving through flags. I was very impressed.

Jeff was really nice and patient with me cause I didnt know how to get the horse to run, let alone barely trot. But, he was a good teacher, I think I just need to practice a lot more!

So on sunday I was able to go to my very good friend, Carly's, homecoming. She gave the most incredible talk about her experiences on her mission and I'm pretty sure I had chills the entire time. She had some really amazing experiences and I could feel the spirit so strong in that chapel. She has really changed a lot of people's lives in Illinois and I am so proud of her accomplishment and all that she has gained from her mission. She had a few close friends and family over to her house after sacrament and it was really fun to be able to catch up with her family and some friends I havent seen since high school. Carly's mother, Kathy, is always such an amazing hostess and she had some really yummy food and the desserts were especially delicious. I am so happy to have this cute girl home and Im looking forward to hanging out again.
This is me and Carly reunited! She is still tanner than me, of course. But I am so lucky to have such an amazing friend as she is! Love you Car!

This is a picture of me and Carly's sister-in-law, Lindsay. Everyone always tells us we look like twins... I am not sure I see the resemblance in this picture, but there are times when I look at her and think... yeah, she is a cutie, so for sure we look alike! haha jk jk but she really is such a sweet girl and makes these really yummy homemade Oreo cookies. Seriously, they are to-die-for! I just adore the Cahoon family and am so so glad we have been friends for so long. Love you guys!

I've never been more honored in my whole life--I can't believe I really made the blog! (Yes, I've been checking periodically.) I'm so glad I know about your blog now!
PS I am totally flattered by the comparisons.
