my body hurts

It happens every fall...volleyball begins! This year is different though, as I had to sit out last year due to a old school, self-centered coach that I had previous to Utah State, I actually get to play in games this year! WHOOP WHOOP! I cant wait. I am so happy and excited to play that every day is just wonderful. Our first match is next weekend in Arizona, which will be so amazing because they are a Pac-10 team, and we are playing some other Pac-10 teams, which will be a real challenge for our very young team. We have had a lot of injuries this year, not too good of a start if you ask me. My back is doing well, I went to the Chiropractor to keep it aligned and healthy, although it is still incredible sore. I dont remember the last time my body was this sore. It hurts to stand, it hurts to sit, to lay, anything. My legs are dead. My arm could potentially fall off at any moment now, but my love for the game keeps me going strong. I love it so much. If anyone felt love like this for a game, they know the feeling I have. The pleasure outweighs the pain by a landslide. This is my picture from the media guide, way cheesy, but thats the story of my life.

Anyway, I can't wait to start playing. Our team looks pretty good this year, minus the injuries of a few girls. Three girls are sitting from back injuries, one pulled her ab, and another has a stress fracture in her ankle. Believe me, it is more than I expected. We have a lot of talent though. We were picked to finish 7th in the conference, which is definitely an understatement. We are much much MUCH better than 7th. So, the conference will be really surprised with Utah State this year.

stay tuned for more updates on the volleyball season!!
